We’re excited to bring you all the key updates as we head into an action-packed season of surf boat racing. This edition is your go-to guide for everything you need to know about the upcoming ASRL Open 2026, including important dates, entry details, and event highlights.Here’s what’s inside:
Entries Now Open – Register your crews via LIVEHEATS before the deadlines:

• Normal Entries Close: 25 January 2026 @ 8:00am
• Late Entries Close: 5 February 2026 @ 9:00am

Event Schedule – From Masters to the Trans-Tasman Test, mark your calendars for 12–15 February at Wanda SLSC, NSW.

Key Reminders –

• Composite Crews: Requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Email secretary@asrl.com.au with full details of outgoing and incoming rowers/sweeps and justification.
• Powercraft & Water Safety: Rostering continues as per last year. Active and experienced personnel are encouraged to participate.
• Draws via LIVEHEATS: Clubs must check crews in by 10am Thursday 12 February or email secretary@asrl.com.au if unable to do so in person.
