National Team Selection Event and National Short Course Championship 2024
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO HOST
Introduction:
ASRL is seeking Expressions of Interest from Clubs who may be interested in hosting the 2024 National Team Selection Event (NTSE) and National Short Course Championship (NSCC) 2024 to be conducted from 6th – 8th December 2024.
Background Information
Event 1:
The National Team Selection Event will determine which Open and Under 23 crews of each gender will be selected in the SLSA Australian Surf Boat team to compete against New Zealand in the Trans-Tasman Test to be held in New Zealand on (TBA). The ASRL has been contracted to run this event for and on behalf of SLSA
This event will attract the best crews in the country for a 1-day event to be held on Friday 6th December 2024. Racing will be conducted over a full-length course.
Event 2:
The SLSA National Short Course Championship will be run over the weekend of the 7th & 8th December 2024. This SLSA Championship event will have medals awarded in all divisions U19 through to Opens. The ASRL Mixed Crew racing is included at the end of the days racing across Sat & Sun
