Can anyone provide some accurate information regarding the Tugun Carnival?

I understand it is now on Saturday 10 January even though the Competition Entry forms says Sunday 11th????
Many thanks.
Downsy.

As per below for this Saturday at tugun.

Gentlemen

I wish to confirm that Rounds 3 and 4 of the Navy Series will be conducted over one day at Tugun on Saturday 10 January 2015.

Nominations close midnight Wednesday 7 January.

The Referee wishes to have an early start with gun - up at 7.30 am. Would you please have crews checked in by no later than 6.30 am. If you have traffic problems or if you are in a queue waiting to get onto the beach, please 'phone Judy Melloy on 0434965910.

You should be aware that the Point Danger Branch is conducting "Oceans 38" also at Tugun on both Saturday and Sunday. We therefore ask for your patience and cooperation in getting your boats onto the beach on Saturday. Access will be, as on previous occasions, through the Tugun gear shed. Tugun will have 2 tractors on hand to get boats onto the beach. The competition arena for boats will be to the South of the Club. Approval has been obtained for trailers to be left on the beach South of the competition arena. Please note that it is the responsibility of each competing club to ensure that the trailers are parked correctly at the back of the beach up against the dunes.

Please make sure that your crews have helmets available should they be required.

The program of events for the day is yet to be determined. It will depend of course on the number of crews competing.

Regards
Robin Blyth
Assistant Secretary

A Bermuda Triangle does exist for all Master's Boat Rowers - the three points of that triangle are - Surf Club - Dan Murphy's and Bunning's.
