Any info available for this event?

A Bermuda Triangle does exist for all Master's Boat Rowers - the three points of that triangle are - Surf Club - Dan Murphy's and Bunning's.

Word from QSRL is that the email below is one on many that has gone out to all Qld Boat Captains or Clubs if no BC name available over the last 4 weeks. Anyone in doubt please check with your BC or Club Secretary.

Remember Sat is Short Course and crews will win a spot into the National Short Course Championship to be held at Nth Cronulla in late Dec. Crews will also qualify out of this Sat Short Course to contest the National Team Selection event on the Sunday plus depending on numbers a skins event will be held on the Sunday for age crews.

Boat Captains and Sweeps

1. Site Plan
A plan is attached showing beach access via Laycock Street. We hope to have some parking spaces reserved to enable boats to queue while waiting to be towed to the beach. We will have two tractors in operation which hopefully should speed up the process.

2. Times
Check-in deadline on Saturday at the Recorders tent is 7am
Racing will start at 8am

3. Helmets
All crews must have helmets on hand in the event that the Referee decrees their use obligatory.

4. Clothing
Hi Vis singlets and T-shirts will be available for collection at Surfers Paradise Club House on Friday evening from 5pm to 6pm.
Clothing not collected at this time will be available at the Recorders tent on Saturday.

5. Drinks and finger food food will be available for all crews at the Surfers Paradise Club House on Saturday evening from 4.30pm at a cost of $10 per head.

6. Just a reminder that nominations for the event close at 5pm tonight.
