You are reading this newsletter on the new ASRL website. We hope that the changes are another step forward and will be of benefit to all members.I would like to place on record our appreciation of the work done by Matt Bruce in his time as Web Master. Matt like so many of us has a limited amount of time and with his work & club involvement decided that it was best to pass the baton on. Thanks Matt for the many years of solid work on behalf of rowers from all around
.You will notice a new approach to the front page where we hope to keep the information fresh and relevant. We now have the ability to run with a photo section which will feature some of the best boat shots from around the country. Australia
Another new feature will be the Nugman Newsletter so be alert to a call from the editor as he searches out the best stories. Alternatively if you have something that would interest the mob make contact with Chris.

Feb 2008 Stockton so you should be planning for a major event. We may take the opportunity to introduce a new competition system ensuring everyone 3 races but in a tighter format, more on that next month. We are also working towards trialling an electronic finishing system. If we can make this happen it will be the test case where SLSA can look at it’s introduction at major events. No promises but this is the plan.Enjoy the new website. Stockton
