NSW events, singlets and eligibility

Thanks, ASRL, for the latest newsletter. Plenty of good stuff in there, looking forward to see how the National Ranking goes.
I have a few questions about the events in NSW, best to ask first and get it clarified.
Firstly, are crews/rowers required to make a 'season membership' to be eligible for NSW and national selection, that is before Mollymook/Coffs.
Secondly, obviously crews are required to wear the yellow Navy singlets at ASRL Open, but are all crews also required to wear yellow singlets at Mollymook/Coffs, Nth Cronulla, Queenscliff and Manly.
Happy with whatever your decision is and also with buying singlets. I just want details that are lacking from the newsletter.

Obviously we would like all rowers to support such a good National Sponsor whenever they can

The reality is that the early events like Coffs and Mollymook we won't have the new stock of singlets available so we ask that you do the best you can

Nth Cronulla and the National Selection event we will be beach branding so singlets please

Manly we will be branding on both days so a show of support with singlets please

The other States outside NSW all run actual State controlled Navy Series events so they are under control.

In NSW as we don't control the event entry system we don't capture the NSW crews until they enter either the Short Course at Manly (a free event to all ASRL Members) or the Open. It would help us greatly if NSW clubs could organise themselves to have their Open entries in pre Xmas. It is a lot of work for us to then sort out singlets and get them distributed

Thanks for the quick response, I agree that it's important we all wear our major sponsor's (Navy) singlets and I do so at every carnival.
SLSNSW and therefore all NSW branches have mandated that only pink singlets will be worn at events in NSW this season.
As Mollymook, Coffs, Nth Cronulla and Manly are local branch carnivals we should be wearing pink.
There will, no doubt, be interstate crews coming to all of those events.
There needs to be clarification as to what colour we are to wear.
Yellow or pink, it doesn't bother me, just please give everyone plenty of notice.

As with all things options do exist. We will give plenty of notice on any specific colour prior to a Navy sponsored event.
